  • A professional welcome
  • Advice tailored to your needs
  • Services consistent with quote
  • A measure of satisfaction
  • An efficient after-sales services

These criteria guarantee a quality consumer experience that has been validated by Michelin.

2 - Check the size of your tyres

Once the tyre trader has been chosen, note the size of your tyres.

Here is where you can find it:

  • On the sidewall of the tyres
  • In the maintenance book (or on-board documents) in which the tyre dimensions are noted

3 - Think about your use

To make sure the performance of your new tyres is right for your use, think about the following points:

Your driving style

At Michelin, we offer different tyre ranges to fit different needs. For example, some are specially designed for sporty driving, others for quieter driving or for fuel economy. Ask yourself what driving style suits you so you can be guided to the correct tyre category.

The type of roads you drive on

Do you drive more often on city roads, country roads or highways? This is a criteria that can also be taken into account when buying tyres.

The distance you cover per year on average

This is one of the questions your tyre wholesaler is likely to ask you. If you do not know how many miles you cover yearly on average, a very simple calculation allows you to determine it:

  • How many miles does your odometer display?
If your car was used when you bought it, subtract the number of miles that had been driven at the time of purchase.

  • How many years have you owned your car?

Divide the first number by the second and you will know how many kilometers you drive on average each year.

This information will also help your dealer guide you to the most suitable range of tyres depending on whether you drive a lot, moderately or little.

Visiting the tyre seller

By following these points, you will have well prepared your visit to the tyre trader. You will then be able to answer all the important questions and buy the right tyres for your use
